Singer, actress will stump for Obama at FMU
Usher Raymond, Kerry Washington to speak in support of Illonois Senator

Singer Usher Raymond and actress Kerry Washington will speak in support of Democratic Illinois Sen. Barack Obama's presidential bid 1:45 p.m. today, Tuesday, Jan. 22 in the University Center commons.
Doors will open at 12:45 p.m.
Admission is free and offered on a first come, first serve basis. Tickets are not required, and attendees are encouraged to arrive on time.
Obama finished second in the Nevada primary on Jan. 18 with 45 percent of the vote. New York Sen. Hillary Clinton finished first with 51 percent of the vote, and former North Carolina Sen.?John Edwards came in a distant third with 4 percent.
Raymond has sold about 40 million albums worldwide and has won five Grammy Awards. He is part owner of the Cleveland Cavaliers National Basketball Association franchise and has his own record label, US Records. His most popular albums include "Confessions,"?"8701" and "My Way."
Washington has starred in several successful films, including "Ray" and "Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer." She also has appeared in critically-acclaimed independent films, such as "Our Song" and "The Dead Girl."
